Your release APK always trusts standard system certificate authorities. Enabling this option additionally trusts certificates a user manually installs on their own device — useful when your SAP server uses an internal or self-signed certificate. Customers will need to manually install that certificate on their device. Enabled by default — uncheck to disable. This does not enable cleartext (HTTP) traffic and does not disable hostname verification, and it has no effect on debug builds. The IM/WM flow does not support embedding a specific certificate directly into the APK; use the EWM build flow for that.

Must be a valid URL starting with http:// or https://

SAP Client must contain only digits

SSL Certificate Configuration

Your APK always trusts standard system certificate authorities. Enabling this option additionally trusts certificates a user manually installs on their own device. Customers will need to manually install that certificate on their device. Enabled by default for release builds — uncheck to disable, or select "Embed Custom SSL Certificate" below instead (the two cannot be combined).

Recommended: Embeds your SAP system's root CA certificate directly into the APK (plus standard system certificate authorities) — the APK does not trust other user-installed certificates. No manual certificate installation is required on devices.
